Family tour to Radebeul with ferry ride, windmill and playground

The tour starts in the middle of Dresden's city center, at the foot of the Augustus Bridge on the Neustadt side, with a magnificent view of the baroque Old Town. Along the Elbe cycle path we head west, always in the direction of Meißen. Thanks to the flat route it rolls wonderfully, even for the offspring. We arrive in Radebeul at the village green in Kötzschenbroda. Here, the short stop at one of the many inviting beer gardens is worthwhile.

Freshly strengthened, the ride continues to Coswig-Kötitz. Halfway there we meet the ferry, with which we cross the Elbe and start our way back on the Elbe cycle path towards Dresden. Along impressive landscapes, our tour continues along the banks of the Elbe to Dresden-Gohlis. In Gohlis we pass the historic windmill, which also invites you to take a break with its beer garden. On the onward journey to Dresden, the children's big destination beckons: the playground at the Ostragehege sports park. Here the kids can use the last of their strength and let off steam on the equipment. After passing the Yenidze and the Congress Center, the tour ends after crossing the Augustus Bridge again at the Neustädter Markt in downtown Dresden.
